Proof My Mind's in Bit of a Blog

It 7:05 Wednesday morning and these people I live with won't leave me alone. I mean, I've got ratings to check.

Husband in the kitchen: Do we have any bread?

Me at computer: Um?

Husband: B-R-E-A-D.

Me: Ah, yah, it’s in the car

Him: Why is it in the car?

Me: I haven’t brought it in yet.

Him: Didn’t you go shopping on Sunday?

I ignore this (and it’s only taken me half of my married life to learn how).

Son: Hey Mom, why don’t we have any ‘good’ cereal?

Me: We do. It’s in the car.

Daughter: Did you pick up that stuff from Michael’s for my class?

Me: It’s in the car.

Other Son: I need deodorant.

Me: In the car.

Husband: Where are your car keys?

Smart Ass kids in unison: In the car!

Me searching the memory bank: Oh crap.

OK, OK so I’m behind on a few things. And I'll go to the recycling station, I will.

As soon as I've got room in the car.

That's great! LOL - I just cleaned out the trunk of my car yesterday and went grocery shopping, I found the eggs still in there this morning so I know exactly where you're coming from!

Happy WW! We're playing Musical Chairs!

Same problem, but with the laundry. Everyone knows to go find clothes on the sofa in my bedroom. Hey...at least it's clean...so what if you have to root through a mound taller than yourself.

Hey... what do they have to complain about. You actually got all the things they're asking for!

Snort! I keep everything in the car, too. Unfortunately, it makes it a little embarassing when you pull up to the teacher in the drop off line and stuff starts falling out...

So dude the reason your mind is in a fog is all the freaking beer you drink:) hahahah!

Just kidding -- your family should be damn glad you remembered the crap for them they asked for:)

The recycling is in the car as well as piled in the garage. Someday, I'm going to do it. Someday, I'm going to remember.

Don't you hate it when real life interferes w/ your virtual one? The internet was down at work most of yesterday; so inconvenient!

Too funny... for me I keep leaving stuff everywhere - the car, the living room, wherever. Bad cold and I've got NO brain.

Funny one. Is it all true? If so, it is a classic!

What does your daughter consider "good" cereal? LOL!

That husband and those darn kids are SOOOO demanding! HA! At least you go to the store.

Seems to me, if it's your job to pick everything up...it's their job to get it out of the car;)

This is pretty damn funny. My stuff's not in the car, but that's only because the rule has always been that if I buy it they bring it in and put it away.

Heh. I am so in tune with your son when it comes to "good" cereal. I'm assuming you have cabinets stuffed with healthy cereal, and he's looking for the Cap'n Crunch.

IN THE CAR!

I think I'll be adopting that as my phrase to explain where anything is--even tho I never keep anything in the car.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one whose garage looks like that! lol!

My husband has told me that he wants to surgically remove my laptop from my fingers.

I left a frozen Cuban sandwich in the car for an entire weekend...oh my GOD, when I came back... I can't even be in the same room as pickles and ham ever since that event...

If you leave anything in your car for more than 5 minutes in Houston it grows mold... we have a couple of apple cores growing mold in the back of my car as I write.

I’m gonna be a fan for a little while if you don’t mind. I won’t get in the way but I do drink directly from cartons in the frig and rarely, if ever, use a glass. Speaking of which, we got a great new brew here, (I love ale, of any kind) and when I drink it I rarely if ever use a glass. It’s called Lazy Magnolia Pecan Ale. It’s the only ale in the world that actually is made with pecans. I can’t really taste the pecans, it’s all so gadgety but its good.
