Hi,
New here.:) Congrats on your new President. Can I have some of those cupcakes? They look mighty tasty. ;)

Glad you had fun last night. Ours was cleared out by about 9. Pretty weak party...but hey, at least, we're celebrating! Woo hoo!

Point of Clarification

Matt-Man - Thanks, but I'm the redheaded hippe.

Unfinished Dude - I did have fun, but it wasn't last night. In true hippie fashion, we celebrated at the bar at noon--during the live event.

Looks like quite a party! Love the "Who Would Jesus Bomb" sticker. And what a day! All the best for the new president!

I know you are, and you look damn good, but I was asking you about the dark haired hippie in the picture above you. Wow. Cheers Meg!!

Good times!

I have been looking forward to 1/20/09, it seem like for decades.

Matt-Man - The dark-haired hippie was a woman sitting next to me on a bar stool repeatedly yelling, "I love you" to Obama during his speech.

Seems like we're cruising on each other's blog.

That was one of the best posts ever. Simple, sweet and powerful. Go Hippies!

I wish I could have celebrated on tuesday, I mean I was really glad to be rid of Georgie Boy and I voted for Obama, but why did I schedule a dreaded doctor visit for 1:30 PM, it just sucked all the fun out of the day.

I had to celebrate at work with no booze. ::shakes head sadly::

It was a glorious day for America and the world. Looks like you made the most of it.

What are the odds that you had beard-hair on your pizza? 60%?

I'm with Matt (ok, not literally... I don't like him that kind of way. Not that there's anything wrong with that). I'm just saying that beard in the pizza was the first thing I thought when I saw that picture. Yum.

That pizza is the best in the midwest. Really!!
