I am in no way getting cutbacks from posting this. It's because my loyal readers (all three of you) have requested it. It being: Punk Rock, Punk Acoustic, Anti-Folk or just "loud, fast music informed by politics, passion, energy and intelligence, played by a guy with a sharp tongue and a wicked sense of humor" (Righteous Babe Records).
It being Hamell on Trial. That guy who tours with Ani DiFranco. Who sleeps in his VW. Who has a one-man show called The Terrorism of Everyday Life and an album Songs for Parents Who Do Drugs.
The video is a bit blurring and gets stuck for a second near the beginning, but hang in there and listen to his lyrics.

Looks intriguing, and I still am thinking about those Hammell tix. I have to listen later though, due to mom duties as my son takes a German test this morning in this same space.
This is a new one...and Jen is right, it's quite intriguing! Happy MM! Have a nice week!
Okay... definitely getting tix for that show! GREAT song, lol.
Too funny - and I like your new "About Me" pic! Can I use it on my profile too?!?!?!?
oh my god! I love this song. lmfao
What. A. Riot. That's hysterical. And actually kinda true...shhhhh.
Music Mondays are way better than "WTF! It's Effin' Monday Again! What happened to my weekend and why can't I win the lotto?!?!"
Cool song. Was the dork in the yellow shirt part of the show, or did he not recognize that there was a guy on stage playing guitar for an audience?
OMG - I love your blog! :) I just blog hopped here somehow and you crack me up! :) Will be coming back!
Witty lyrics! Stuff like this cracks me up. Like dead baby jokes, only much more socially acceptable.
Rock on. Hello? Love this.
Aint' nothing wrong with sleeping in your VW.
VW's are plush and spacious now a days... probably more so than my post war bungalow.
Did you know that you have an amazing resemblance to Eliot Spitzer's "girlfriend?"
Oops, I guess I should have read your About Me before I started stating the obvious!
OK - I have to check out the music of a band with that "Songs for Parents who Do Drugs." Pretty catchy.
I love Ani, never knew this guy toured with her. Like your digs here. Hope you don't mind if I come back and chill out. Thanks for dropping by my blog and leading me over.
Peace!
I've never heard of this guy...
Hmmm....
