I'm Bringing Sexy Back And Holding On To It For Dear Life With One Hand While I Exfoliate With The Other

Back in the day when I was a Hairy Legs Feminist, I would never think of wearing sexy shoes.

The ankle strap signifies bondage, and the pointed toe you cram your foot into signifies a woman molding herself (and enduring the sheer pain) into a perfect, unnatural representation of beauty.

But times change.

These days I am a Plunging Neckline Feminist.

With new CFM shoes:

But some things never change.

I remain practical in many ways. As you can see, the heel of these shoes is reasonable and the clear arch support I added...well, let's hope no one notices.

I really like them.

Nice shoes, aren't you going to model them (without hairy legs, one hopes). And, I know I'll feel stupid when you answer this, what does CFM mean?

Ahem...OK. Well, the C is for Come. The F is another word for making love, and the M is for Me.

Heh, I am a lunging neckline feminist too...

And those shoes are way sexy! Good for you.

I am rocking flats today because I had some serious walking to do... but come summer, it is all about the strap-y heels!

I love them. I can't do the pointy heel and Franco Sarto shoes are so comfortable

That's funny, cause I am actually a hairy leg feminist, too. And every time I walk in the door to the house, I tell the wife that sexy's back.

Oh My Gosh, anyone who doesn't know what CFM stands for is in for a shock. I'm an older gal from the South, and we have been wearing CFM's for generations, my mom had the hottest ones from the 40's and my sister and I used to try on ones in the shops just for fun. I tend to go with comfort more these days, but I still go as stylish as I can. Hey, I'm old. By the way, I found your blog through a comment on Susie's page. Love, love, love your banner!

I'm wearing a T-shirt, sweats, and flats. Those shoes are making me feel a little under-dressed.

Very nice!

Alas.
As CFM as those look, they are beyond my capabilities.
After working in Corporate America for years and having to wear heels...I can no longer stand the pain!!!
But I am happy for you that you can still wear them for the rest of us Bunion Babes!!!

And there's a little Gladiator Amazon thrown in for good measure.

Of course I have "shoedar"... thus my sparkling return :)

A gal's gotta have at least one pair of CFM shoes.

Nice shoes but let's see that plunging neckline ;)

I'm a feminist.

You are bringing sexy back! Being a woman means feeling good about yourself and wearing the heels and accessories you want, that's what i tell myself every morning. "Self-deprechaun, you are a beautiful woman!"

I just tripped thinking about it.

I love shoes. I have a pair Franco's too with a 4 inch stiletto heel that just gives me all kinds of confidence.

::dreamy sigh::

Those are great! Now, do they make them in flats?

I like the shoes, actually-- they've got a bit of 1940s influence to them.

Love the shoes! You can totally be a hot feminist with cute (comfortable) shoes. Who says women can't have it all? Not me!

You keep racking up the reasons for me to love you. I am strong; I am invincible; I am tottering along on high heels, too.

With great power, I'll have you know.

Oh! Oh! I just learned what CFM's were a couple months ago! Apparently my new boots are CFM's, that's what they told me at work.
