It may surprise you that I know a few regular working types as well. One of them is Cooper the Union Carpenter.
Cooper collects old tools, drinks cheap beer and buys American. As in American factory remnants.
He also has a lot to say about everything.
I've often encouraged Coop to start up a blog, but no--why waste time on blog when you can star in a video story by the journalist Max Ortiz of the Detroit News?
But seriously, here's a WONDERFUL short clip with Cooper reminiscing about the now shut-down Automotive Components Holdings plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan (link below).
It accompanies a story called, Selling off America's manufacturing might, a factory at a time.

I think I could take him on with my thoughts about the loss of jobs/factorys in America. Tired of buying awful China made products that try to kill us - lead painted toys, poisoned drywall, fake pills made of drywall, etc
