Like when I discovered this trend of videotaping pelicans eating birds, I thought, OMFG!!! I so want to do that too. Why can't I do that?
I can do that.
One problem: there are no pelicans around here (although we have plenty of walleye). So I'm ripping off the Original video and embedding it. Why? Because it's what we blogger/vloggers do. It's the in thing.
It has also come to my attention that bloggers like Bryan at Unfinished Rambling(s) were using the word asshat a lot. And I thought, OMFG!!! I so want to do that too. Why can't I do that?
I can do that.
One problem: this is a family blog, so I can't very well use the word asshat. I can, however, publish a photo of one.
And then I noticed that bestowing cool gifts to pal bloggers is now in vogue. When I saw the dollar-store goodies Smiling Infidel sent to Honey Pie, I so wanted to be in on that, too.
So I searched high and low for the best quality kitsch--I'm oddly competitive that way. One day outside of a coffee shop, I saw the most perfect gift for Honey Pie and thought, "This is the most perfect gift for Honey Pie."
But later when I went to Petco to see if the national meal worm shortage was over yet, I saw something even more perfect for Honey Pie and thought, "This is even more perfect for Honey Pie."
One problem: I have no way to mail it.
