So Long Black Bald Babies, There's Some New Boys in Town

I had to say goodbye to my black babies--no not because many of you said they were creepy:

Because little by little, they were getting abused:

I've replaced them with some boys who have hair:

And one of these boys is not like the other. Can you spot him?

You should get your own HGTV design show.

Let's see, it was the Stones that sang "Under My Thumb," and you have the Fab Four and some other guy other your feet...

Cat - Thanks. I'm an excellent decorator.

Sage - Pardon Me? Some other guy?

"Uh, I like so don't get it.."

Black bald babies are one thing, but now grown men looking up your nightgown? Living on the edge there, Meg.

Meg of Ohio (because for some odd reason, I think I called you by another name a few posts ago- where's your WTF stamp when I need it?), is that really David Byrne? You're stranger than I thought. And I already thought you were pretty strange.

Please come and help me decorate my steps. I need to see cute boys when I'm carrying the laundry upstairs.

Where has John Cusack been hiding lately anyway??!!

Good call. Cause if I was ever in a house with baby heads on the stairs I'd be afraid to go up...I'd feel all guilty if I kicked a baby in the face trying to find the bathroom.

Stop making sense.

OK, Everyone.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!

It's not David Byrne.

It's My John Cusack (from the High Fidelity ad). Geez, where's Bossy when you need her?

Looks like Kevin Spacey.

Creepy. Very, very creepy. A psychologist could discuss your need to be center attention...all eyes on you.

Oh...kay, nothing odd about that.

At first I thought the 5th Beatle was Simon Cowell. Then he looked like Craig Ferguson to me (no really, he does). And then he looked like John Cusack. So I got there eventually. What do I win?

what an incredibly cool idea. You have great funky taste and I love it!

do you do interior design for only cool people?

I feel considerably better about these than the dented baby-heads, I have to say.

In fact, this might actually be the first night I sleep soundly since you did that. :)

PS- John looks so, I don't know, high fidelity :)

Mia, you are an incredible genius!

Paul (aka "s.u."

How do you think of these things? I'd be lucky just to keep the stairs clean.

So is it Morgan Freeman? I have no idea who that is. It looks like some guy with hair.

What'd you do with the baby heads? Are you gonna give 'em away? I was looking for a few dozen baby heads just like that last Tuesday.

Those are far less creepy than the black babies...far less creepy. But still a 7 on the creepy scale.

Things have sure changed since the last time I hightailed it out of Ohio Meg. Or was I evicted? Can't remember.

Intriguing, pardon my spelling. I never saw something like that on stairs. Show us more decorating?

Good bye, little bald, black babies! I'll miss you!

Yes! I spot John Cusack peering up at me. I hope he's not looking up my skirt!

KiKi said...

Awesome!!!

Looks like Corey Feldman to me. :-P

musingwoman said...

Mr. Cusack can look up my skirt all he wants.

You have different stars peeking out of your stairs? That's pretty good!

I thought, based on your infatuation, that it might be Tweedy, but upon closer inspection that didn't hold up. John Cusack, eh? Which film. Better Off Dead? ;)

Schmoop said...

Ha. Tres Cool. Cheers Meg!!

Dennis said...

Golly, I thought it was Robyn Hitchcock.

I didn't recognize Cusack without him holding up the stereo! LOL. Cool way to decorate your stairs, very original! :)
