Jews: Get Thee Hinies to Florida!

Sarah Silverman who is longer f-ing Matt Damon nor Jimmy Kimmel apparently has some extra energy. Her new mission: The Great Schlep.

Silverman says that Jews are the most liberal people in the US. All except one segment of them--the ones called Nana, Papa, Zadie, and Bubby. She is urging all Jews to hightail it to Florida and convince their grandparent to vote for Obama.

After all, Silverman argues, old Jews and Blacks have a lot in common. They both wear track suits, they both love bling, and everyone they know is dying. Check it out (after the little ones are out of earshot):

This is brilliant: "...back to 2000 when a little man named Al Gore got fucked by Florida..."

Classic. Here's hoping it works!

I looooove Silverman. Thanks for the visit. It's nice to come across another Buckeye State Liberal.

As for your post below about the "Hot Bloggers Calendar". I have seen many of the bloggers they chose.

They should have picked a more accurate name. Perhaps, "Tepid Bloggers"...or "Not Completely Hideous and Disfigured Bloggers".

Cheers from Bagwine, Ohio, Meg!!

Hi, I wanted to come over and say 'Hi' *waves*

I love this video. Her deadpan style slays me.

Funnier than that though, as an aside, I lurve your title and tagline, one of the funniest I have seen!

FADKOG - Sorry about that. I'll issue a warning next time.

A Free Man - Yes, some of those women named Sarah are bright and funny.

Matt - Living on the border, we are a house divided--yes, Michigan fans using my bathroom, eating my macaroni and cheese...

Amy - Thanks. But my tag line is not supposed to be funny. It's the truth.

This is when humour is best... when it's the truth.

Dude, my surviving grandparents totally live in Pittsburgh and my Gram heard me go off on the complete idiocy that is Sarah Palin last night over skype. So I've done my duty....overseas even.
Go me!

Funny, funny, funny. I'm so glad there are people out there willing to take the time to do stuff like cut Hillary/Obama quotes into singing that song.

I don't miss much TV, but Sarah Silverman is something I do know I miss. (The Wife and I don't have TV, although we watch Netflix.)

Sorry I haven't been by in a while: life and trying to keep up with too many blogs (not just writing them but also READING them...stupid me).

See you later...I'll have a political post before noon today.

Anndi - Yes. You don't know how lucky you are up North. Except for the cold.

Lilac - Thanks for doing your part from overseas.

Dan - I know. There are so many talented people out there with so much time.

Ms. Picket - My email badge is on my blog -- scroll down. You can check out my playlist there, too. And My Tweedy.

Chris - She is great. But they say a woman can't be funny unless she's fat, gay or Jewish. Is that why my numbers are slipping?

Unfinished - So you have to watch all those movies on a tiny computer screen? I think a fellow Sistah in Cusack deserves something better.

Chat Blanc - Let's hope it ends soon.

What I meant was we don't have cable. We do have a TV, on which we watch Netflix....d'oh! (smacking myself up side the head)

Oh, my god: LOVED the Sarah Silverman bit (and I am not a huge fan of hers). That was hilarious. I've seen the original "Matt Damon" and "Ben Affleck" ones, but not the Hillary or Sarah Palin ones. HA! C'mon Jewish youth! Schlep your butts to Floria!

Sarah Silverman ROCKS! She has the best demented sense of humor ever. I think it was the roast of Pamela Anderson where Sarah stood up and did her piece, and in walks the b/f with a puzzled look trying to figure out why I was on the bed. Once he discovered it was from laughter and not pain, he sat down, and watched Sarah for the first time in his life. Seriously! I've been educating the boy on the importance of comedians, and for someone who said he though stand up comedy was boring, I haven't had a problem getting him to sit down and watch with me since then.

That was supposed to read why I was on the bed crying :P. It's to early to be coherent.

I'm not sure if I'll get fired for watching these at work...or laughing this hard at work.

I hadn't seen the Palin/Damon or Hilary/Obama ones...but my fave is still the original!
